Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the world. Matthew 28:20 KJV
Before the battle came, God had overcame them. The devil will try to deceive you into thinking you are alone by projecting thoughts of shame, regret, disappointment, poverty, ill health, financial challenges to your mind.
There is something you should know, before the battle was victory, Christ had overcome them a long time ago.
We only need to live in the reality of this victory.
I will never leave or forsake you. This a very firm promise. Hold on to it. You may not feel it but God is always there. His presence is always with us.
He sees your troubles. He knows where you are hurting. He knows your weakness and sees your tears.
People might not have been there for you when you need them or call you as frequently as you desire, you may feel abandoned or rejected because of the scars from the pains of your past experiences, God sees all these.
Even when you are alone, you are not alone. God is with you, comforting you, loving you no matter what.
As Christians, we walk by faith not by sight. We walk in the knowledge of the word of God as it is our source of succour and hope.
Close your eyes, focus on now. Forget every other thing happening and breathe. Release the breathe of anxiety and pain.
Imagine and recognize Jesus there with you. You are not meant to do this life alone. This is why God gave us the greatest gift- His Son, to provide us a comforter who will always be with us.
I know you feel tired, overwhelmed without the desire to get up from your bed but there is a friend who sticketh closer than a brother. His name is Jesus Christ of nazareth.
Drop the burden, unmet expectations, anger, disappointment at His feet. Allow His presence to fill you with peace.
He wants to lift you when you have lost the will power to go on for His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
Allow Him to touch you. You are not alone, never have been and never will be.
No matter what life brings your way, He will be gracious to you.
Let this knowledge touch your soul and uplift you. Bask in the euphoria of knowing He is right there with you.
I leave you with this verse, one of my go to verses in times of need;
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
