Take it to God

What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and grief to bear

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer.

Oh what peace we often forfeit

Oh what needless pain we bear

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer

Have we trials and temptations,

Is there trouble anywhere

If we have don’t be discouraged

Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Talk to God when things don’t make sense. Let Him know you are worried why certain blessings are delayed. Through His word,He will reassure you of the blessing in patience and perseverance. That His thoughts and ways are bigger than yours and He will surely give you an expected end.

You can also gain new perspective by doing this. Maybe you are not ripe for what you are asking for. A little more time for growth? Then again, the more time you spend in His presence talking and listening to Him, the more you get to know Him and your desires become tailored to fit in His will so probably you really didn’t need that which you originally prayed for.

Ask God about someone you desire to get close to or pursue a relationship with but you are unsure of. He will show you signs. Things you didn’t see before or didn’t want to see. He will fine tune your heart so you either feel more warmth towards the person or have the urge to pull away. He will open your eyes to see them. He can also cause the other person to behave a certain way so as to further reinforce the signs and assist you arrive at your decision for your final good.

Cry to Him when you are hurting. He knows the depth of your pain and can comfort you in ways no one else can. He is the All Knowing God and will heal you. It won’t happen overnight but slowly and surely, you will feel the hold of pain lose its grasp.

Talk to God if you are feeling lost. He will take away the haze of confusion and give you clarity. He will strengthen and empower you to take on new territories and try out things you have never done before. He will give your life a definition.

Talk to God if you feel low and worthless. He will remind you of your worth paid for with the priceless blood of Christ Jesus and you will feel a surge of renewed joy and confidence.

Talk to God if you are struggling with an addiction and He will help you through it.

Talk to God if you are indecisive about a business idea or investment. He will nudge you in the right path or stop you from making a wrong step. He can use a negative reaction to bring about a positive result.

To take things to God is the best thing you can ever do. Take your worries to Him. Lay it at His feet. It can be an automatic epiphany or a gradual change but eventually things will work out. A step in the right direction is better than 20steps the wrong way.

Dear friends, God is good, pray to Him

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 NLT

This is one of life’s best kept secrets. Talking to God. About anything, anytime. What a joy! So much noise around us. Thanks for this reminder that in the midst of all the noise the strength of God’s signal is what we need. Good writing too!

How comforting to know God “will nudge [us] in the right path or stop [us] from making a wrong step. He can use a negative reaction to bring about a positive result.” Thank you for the encouragement, Musings & Roses!

It’s amazing how praying and surrendering all our cares to God can give us so much peace, even if we are going through trials. Beautiful Bible reflections! Continue to spread God’s powerful words to everyone. God bless Angel:)
