“The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

Psalms‬ ‭34:17-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Isn’t it amazing to have someone who cares about all your problems and listens to you with the intent of providing a solution? Have you tried several times to handle tough situations on your own disregarding the privilege of the great friendship you have which results in you hitting road blocks or coming down under the heaviness of the burden when you can just turn it over.

Trying to deal with issues on your own will only increase your level of anxiety because the more you struggle, the tougher it gets.

Can I tell you something? Give it up. Quit trying to do this alone. Life does not have to seem hopeless when the greatest hope of all time has been made available to you. Yes, I got you there.

It is as easy as I said it. Stop leaning on your own strength and start leaning on His strength. Remember, in our weakness, His strength is made perfect. God is so good to us that you can tell him practically everything and anything.

Looking for a promotion- Tell him

Trying to conceive – His ears are open to you

About to start a new business – Talk to Him.

This is just a fraction of our daily struggles. He knows because He is Omniscient but He wants to hear it from you.

I lived a major part of life trying to figure out life on my own. Nothing worked out. I struggled for practically any good thing I felt I ought to have. I would worry my head off, go into panic mode if deadlines are around the corner or resort to crying or whining. I was a mess.

I won’t even go into the health hazards of excessive worry. I felt if I could do a particular , make a certain call, all would be well. I forgot the most important thing, to go to my Father first in prayer and table my concerns before Him . I was miserable, bitter.

My heart was polluted with conflict so I could not even have a clear moment to produce good thoughts. It was a tough season of my life but thank God for His mercy. Through consistent study of the word of God, I began to realise what a fool I had been all this time

. Imagine dragging a cart for hours only for you to realise you could have simply driven it because it had tyres. That was me.

I am still learning but I believe I have gotten to a place now that I can confidently tell you to cast your cares on God because it is highly beneficial. Bring your fleshy wisdom to subjection.

Now, God is helping me trust Him more. He says, I require child-like faith to follow Him. The confidence that doesn’t question. A child who asks a parent for favour does not worry about the modalities in receiving. it. He just trust that it is done. It hurts God deeply when we don’t trust. If only our eyes can be opened to the magnitude of His love and how far He goes for us.

Daily, the mervies of God are new and available to us. Submit your heart to Hm and watch the weight fade away.

Let Him lead you. Have faith like a child.

When you are confronted with an issue or you get to a crossroad with no idea of what to do, go on your knees and have a conversation with your Heavenly Father about your needs, concerns and issues.

His ears are ever open to your cries and there is nothing He can’t or won’t do for you. What a friend you have in Christ Jesus, utilize the great friendship we enjoy with Him. A friend in need and deed. A father too faithful to let you bear those burdens alone. Speak to Him today. He loves you.

I leave with this verse;

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Amen. True and vital words to hold on to. Love the cart description though. Trusting Him wholly does save us a lot of stress. And we just realize how much He has supplied for us in advance.
He is a father indeed! And a dear friend to us always.

Great post and all so very true. Like most, I had to learn it the hard way since I am somewhat of a control freak. What a huge difference it has made in my life once I embraced this truth. I knew it for most of my life, but knowing and embracing aren’t necessarily the same thing! Blessings to you!
