It is my birthday + Lessons I have learned

Friends, today is my birthday. I look back and see how much growth has happened.

There is so much i want to say but i would try to compact them here.

Remember other people’s opinion about you do not have the ultimate say on you as nobody knows you apart from yourself and God.

It is okay to desire validation but the most important validation comes from God. He has chosen you. Everyone must not like you. You cannot please them all. Know this and know peace.

Some lessons are better learnt from the mistakes of others.

Take risk. But let it be calculated.

You are capable of more than you can ever dream of. Don’t let fear hold you back. Don’t let environment limit you. Branch out. Stretch and keep stretching.

Passion is good. But when you have a choice between working for money or working for passion, choose money. Financial freedom would give you the platform to pursue your passion.

Set goals in bits and achievable way. For example, I would be rich is vague. Rather say, I would make 10,000dollars in 6 months. Then you draw a vision board on how you hope to achieve it.

Every relationship is different. Do not follow the blueprint of another. Draw your vision and work with it.

You are worth so much more than you think. Do not camp in the house of people who cannot see your worth. Do not give anyone the chance to diminish you or put you down.

This is something you will struggle with. You will think you’re not good enough but I promise you are. You are enough. You are worthy. Stop looking to others to find your worth. Love you. I know you have high expectations but learn to give yourself grace. Be gentle with yourself.

Eat Healthy

This wasn’t a lesson that was hard for me to learn since I’ve always valued nutrition, but now that I am older, I definitely enjoy eating healthy and seeing the benefits.

Joy is a choice

Life is not a straight line. You would encounter heartbreaks, disappointments, failure. It is part of your growth process. In the midst of this, you must choose to draw strength from the infinite source of the Almighty God within you. Try to stop worrying excessively.

Be happy. Trust me, most of what you fret over now won’t matter tomorrow.

Be grateful

I know you want more for yourself. I know you fear satisfaction may breed complacency. It is okay to pause often and appreciate how far you have come. Give yourself an applaud while setting the next goal. Be thankful to your Maker who have enabled you to come this far.

If you observe, anyone who is miserable is mever satisfied or always complaining. There is always something to be thankful for. A grateful heart is a cheerful one.

As I write these lessons, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for being alive and all the blessings God bestowed on me. Most especially this blog family.

The most memorable part about wrapping up my last year is that I got to share it with YOU. My readers, followers, subscribers – my online family. Being able to share my life and the word of God with you via the internet, has brought me so much joy and fulfillment. I wake up everyday with a sense of purpose thinking of what content I can create so that you have new posts from me. This blog is a constant reminder of how lucky I am.

As I usher in the next chapter of my life, I can’t wait to share it with You as we learn from and grow with each other.

Thank you so much for giving me the best birthday gift I could ask for – your love and support for me mean so much and I am forever grateful to share with you!

With Love 💜

Happy Birthday, Angel! Your advice today is very wise and much needed.
“Life is not a straight line.” This is a accurate statement, and could be a post in itself.

God’s best to you in the new year ahead.

    Blessings.
