3 reminders for you today!

The gravity of your temper won’t solve your problems. Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Stand for what is right even if you have to stand alone.

whoever says he lives in Christ [that is, whoever says he has accepted Him as God and Savior] ought [as a moral obligation] to walk and conduct himself just as He walked and conducted Himself.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Peace is not the absence of tribulations but the knowledge and acceptance of God’s love and kindness.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Which is your favourite?

It is well with you

You are loved💙💜💛

Thank you for these reminders, Angel🤗 indeed, may we listen and be slow to speak and anger. Displaying the fruit of the Spirit, self control and kindness. With the help of Christ.🌸

Love all three but this one’s my favorite: Peace is not the absence of tribulations but the knowledge and acceptance of God’s love and kindness. Thanks for the reminders. Peace to you.

I like them all, but my favorite is the first one. I tend to get irritated and lash out at others, usually at those who know and love me best. It seldom helps. One of favorite quotes by the late US Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg: “Reacting in anger or annoyance will not advance one’s ability to persuade.”

    God’s best to you, Ann.

I cannot choose between the three. They are such good verses. Even though these verses are familiar it is lovely to be reminded especially put together like this. Thank you Angel

This really spoke to me! A Christian life certainly DOES NOT mean a life free of problems. It DOES mean we have a higher source to seek out comfort and guidance in the midst of those problems though!
